The Group HMD, specialist in professional seating, announces the acquisition of the company Navailles.

The Group HMD (Holding Michaud Development) affirms it's position on the chair market with the purchase of the company Navailles. The complimentary activity of Navailles increases the Group HMD's offer in the world of seating :  office, workshop, laboratorie and medical chairs. This acquisition is strategical for the Group HMD who cannot be ignored as a major play in the market of professional seating.

“This acquisition marks a major step in the expansion of the Group HMD. We are very eager to work with the teams at Navailles. Their know how perfectly compliments ours. Today, with Kango and Navailles the group can be proud of it's 65 years of history!” declares Christophe Michaud, president of the Group HMD.

The Group HMD regroups three companies. The company BIENS located in Dijon France, commercialises the brand Kango Professional. The subsidary Kango Inc. Located in Ohio USA, created this year to increase the International presence. The latest acquisition located in Hagetmau in the Landes France has allowed the Group HMD to increase it's product range to include office and medical chairs.

Christophe Michaud is a young chief executive who has never stopped going forward since his first acquisition in 2005 : Taking the best of a company, adding his personal touch, creating new product lines, boasting the commercial strategy and managerial organisation.

The amount of the purchase remains confidential but the objective of the board is clear : a turnover of 50 million euros within 5 years.
